Professor. Jie Yang

Bio:Jie Yang received a bachelor’s degree in Automatic Control in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), where a master’s degree in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent System was achieved three years later. In 1994, he received Ph.D. at Department of Computer Science, University of Hamburg, Germany. Now he is the Professor and Director of Institute of Image Processing and Pattern recognition in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the principal investigator of more than 30 national and ministry scientific research projects in image processing, pattern recognition, data mining, and artificial intelligence. He has published six books，more than five hundreds of articles in national or international academic journals and conferences. Google citation over 22200，H-index 80. Up to now, he has supervised 5 postdoctoral, 46 doctors and 70 masters, awarded six research achievement prizes from ministry of Education, China and Shanghai municipality. Two Ph.D. dissertation he supervised was evaluated as “National Best Ph.D. Dissertation” in 2009 and in 2017.  Two Ph.D. dissertations he supervised were evaluated as “Shanghai Best Ph.D. Dissertation” in 2009 and 2010. He has owned 48 patents.

Professor. Kangjuan Lv,

Shanghai University, China

Research Interests: Urban management and services, regional economy, energy environment and technical economy, sustainable development, etc.

Bio: Shanghai Leading Talent, Distinguished Professor of the Shanghai Oriental Scholar Program, recipient of the Ho Ying-dong Award for Teaching and Education in Higher Education Institutions, member of the AACSB International Business School Accreditation Review Committee, PRT expert and mentor. Main research directions: urban management and services, regional economy, energy environment and technology economy, sustainable development, etc. In this field, he has presided over more than 20 vertical projects including key projects of the National Social Science Foundation, general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, projects of the Ministry of Education, and major projects of the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences. He has published 7 academic monographs and over 100 papers in SSCI/CSSCI journals, including top journals in the field such as Energy Economics, Journal of Environmental Management, and Structural Change and Economic Dynamics. Three of his papers have been ESI highly cited papers. In 2024, he was listed as one of the top 5% highly cited scholars by CNKI. His policy consultation suggestions have been repeatedly approved by national leaders and he has won the Shanghai Municipal Government's Decision-making Consultation Award.

Professor. Shiliang Sun

Research Interests: Machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision; AI-generated content, multimodal large models, intelligent healthcare, etc.

Bio:Sun Shiliang is a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the director of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Shanghai Computer Society, as well as the director of the Machine Learning Committee of the Shanghai Image and Graphics Society. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Beihang University and a doctorate from Tsinghua University. He has conducted visiting research at overseas universities such as University College London and Columbia University. Currently, he serves as the head of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (PRML Research Group) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His main research fields are machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is a member of well-known journals such as IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TNNLS, and the Chinese Journal of Automation. He has received important awards such as the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Chinese Association of Automation. To date, he has published over 200 academic papers and in 2020, he published the Chinese textbook "Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning" (published by Tsinghua University Press).

Prof. Yongkang Sun

Shanghai Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd., China

Bio: Sun Yongkang, a doctor and professor-level senior engineer, is currently the vice chairman of Shanghai Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd., the chairman of Shanghai Energy Construction Engineering Design Research Co., Ltd., and the executive director of the Dual-Carbon Innovation Center of Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. He also serves as the vice chairman of the Hydrogen Equipment Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, the vice chairman of the Hydrogen Development and Innovation Alliance of the China City Gas Association, a regular member of the China City Gas Association, and a regular member of the Urban Gas Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society. He has been deeply involved in key areas such as urban gas, hydrogen, resource recycling, and smart energy, leading his team to pioneer and test in various regions, achieving a series of significant breakthroughs in scientific and technological research and demonstration applications. He has presided over the completion of major projects such as the world's largest LNG cold energy power generation device; established the "6C Gas Safety Risk Management System" and developed the digital platform for ultra-high pressure natural gas distribution; published 14 core papers and obtained 10 invention patents. He has received provincial and ministerial-level awards such as the China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award and the First Prize of Excellent Engineering Survey and Design in Shanghai.
