On November 15, 2025, theInternational Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development (ICAISD 2025) was successfully held at the Jiading Campus of Shanghai University. Nearly 80 renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad gathered at the conference to conduct in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge research, technological breakthroughs and industrial applications in the field of artificial intelligence and sustainable development. They jointly discussed the latest research findings and future development directions in the application of artificial intelligence for sustainable development, as well as the innovative paths for intelligent technologies to empower sustainable development.
The conference was hosted by Shanghai University, and co-organized by the Sydney Institute of Language & Commerce of Shanghai University, the Industrialization Research Center of Shanghai Construction Group, and the Intelligent Construction Research Center of Jiangsu Fenghao Digital Technology Co., Ltd. It received strong support from Shanghai Construction Smart City Operation Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Construction Digital Industry Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Civil Engineering Society, and the Artificial Intelligence Branch of Shanghai Computer Society, forming an innovative pattern of multi-party collaboration among industry, universities, research institutes and users.

KEYNOTE SPEECH
The conference adopted a hybrid online and offline format, attracting 27 distinguished invited guests from more than ten universities, enterprises and research institutes, as well as author representatives from over 30 universities. Following rigorous peer review, authors of 14 outstanding papers delivered oral presentations. These research achievements have made important progress in areas including artificial intelligence algorithm innovation, sustainable development evaluation models, and smart city construction.
This conference deeply integrated artificial intelligence, as an "empowering engine", with sustainable development, the "ultimate goal", and jointly explored future development and technological pathways in relevant fields. It not only built a high-quality platform for academic exchange and cooperation in related disciplines, but also effectively promoted the in-depth interdisciplinary integration and collaborative advancement of artificial intelligence, sustainable development and other fields. The conference topics not only probed cutting-edge theories, but also emphasized the application value of innovative outcomes in practical development. The content closely aligned with industrial development demands, providing important reference directions for future technological progress.
Experts in attendance unanimously agreed that the deep integration of artificial intelligence technologies and sustainable development will become a key direction for future scientific and technological innovation.
